Carpenter Bees

June 16, 2014

Growing up we were always told, do not bother the bees and they will not bother you; however, sometimes bees become more than just a bother and they begin doing some serious damage to your home. Females carpenter bees chew right through wooden structures to create nests. This results in damage and weaking of the wood over time if left untreated. Carpenter bees may seem harmless, causing minimal damage at first but left alone the rate of damage is quickened by colonies nesting together and even by woodpeckers that prey on carpenter bees! Concerned about carpenter bees? Call your local pest managers here at Nuk Em for your free estimate and rest assured that bees with be no bother this summer!
